Tickets can be bought cash by the secretariat the day before the tour and they can be retired in the Secretariat or at your request in your hotel.
In case of less than 25 pax, tours will be posticipated to the next day if it is foreseen.

FULL DAY
1) Naples baroque: the historical centre and S.Martino Certosa 19- 21 July

The path along the ancient narrow Neapolitan streets called “decumani”, discovers the magnificent works realized between the 17th and 18th centuries for the Pius Pawn Broker’s, for S.Gennaro Treasure Chapel and for the mysterious Prince Sansevero’s Chapel. Moving to the Vomero hill, we can enjoy a beautiful view of the whole city from the terraces of S.Martino Certosa, a gothic structure completely wrapped into the very rich barocco style.

2) Pompei: an archeological site 18 – 20 -22 July

Pompei excavations began at the half of the 18th century and they gave back to us an almost complete city that was stopped the 14th of august in 79 a.C.. On that day, it was completely covered by the stones erupted by the volcano Vesuvius: Starting from the private houses to public places, through the forum and the theatres, it will be possible to reconstruct the life of 2000 years ago.

3) Capri 19 – 21 July

This charming island, inhabited by the Greeks and after by Roman emperors, wonderful for its picturesque rocky coasts, for its unexpected caves, for its multicoloured waters has been the goal and the source of inspiration for writers, poets and painters from all over the world, and still today is one of the most visited Italian places.
In our walk there will be a stop in the Augustus gardens, in the St.James Certosa and in the Axel Munthe villa in Anacapri.

4) Amalfitan Coast 18 – 20 -22 July

The enchanting view together with the richness of the artistic patrimony, make he Amalfitan coast a magic place.
The close dialogue between the sea and the territory is shown up by the long panoramic road that coasts along and that leads to little towns rising up from deep valleys.
We can enjoy this view from the high terraces of villa Rufolo and villa Cimbrone, in the beautiful little town of Ravello. Another stop, useful to deepen the history of this place, is the town of Amalfi, with the visit to its beautiful Dome.

5) Caserta Royal Palace and S.Leucio silk-manufactures 19 – 21 July

The royal palace of Caserta is the most spectacular residence edified under the king Carlo di Borbone in the 18th century. Built as a new Versailles, the huge palace was endowed of a park in which the scenographical sequence of falls and fountains gives it a unique magnificence.
During the general reorganization of the Borbonic reign, there were opened a great number f modern factories, as the famous silk manufactures placed in S.Leucio, not far from Caserta. The path twill develop through he visits to the ancient silk-manufactures and to a modern one, following the tradition in its outlet.

1) Capodimonte Museum and Park 19 – 21 July
On his arrival in Naples, Carlo di Borbone, had this palace built in order to shelter his court and the big collection of pictures and rare works, ineheredited by his mother Elisabetta Farnese. The collection enriched by rare objects produced by borbonic manufactures, as the famous Chinas, is shown at the first floor in the Museum, in the royal apartment. In this apartment there are important works by Masaccio, Raffaello and Tiziano. At the second floor one of the most important work shown is a picture by Caravaggio.
The royal residence was built in a wood so as to satisfy the king’s passion for hunting.
2) Historical centre 18- 20 – 22 July
The tour along the Neapolitan decumani (ancient narrow streets) will cross S. Domenico and Gesù squares, to reach S. Gregorio Armeno, a place famous for the hand-made shepards. The tour will include a visit to S. Chiara church and to its majolicated cloister, and to the 18th century Prince Sansevero’s Chapel
3) Sanità quarter 19 – 21 July
Crossing the Sanità and the Vergini roads, that were the only way to go to Capodimonte Royal Palace, we enter the very heart of a Naples characterized by a thousand contrasts. The rich noble buildings, not far from Capodimonte palace, look out to narrow crowded streets, leading to the big 17th century Church of Santa Maria della Sanità. From this Church it is possible to pass to S. Gaudioso catacombs, appointed to bury the ancient Christian communities.
4) See sighting tour: Posillipo hill 18 – 20 – 22 July
The ground strip foundering its tufa walls in the sea of the Neapolitan gulf, is known as the Posillipo hill. It was chosen as the place to build several magnificent villas at the Roman Empire time, and it saves still some hints of the ancient buildings and it is the the seat of several historical villas and buildings degrading towards the sea the tour offers unexpected foreshortenings, celebrated by poets and writers and depicted by painters and Gran Tour travellers.
5) Exclusive shopping 19 – 21 July
An exclusive tour in the ateliers and labs producing the tipical Neapolitan ‘excellencies’ as the coral manufactures or the famous hand-made ties.
